This package includes: - Online perinatal resources and a loan of books - Text, phone and email support during business hours - 2-hour prenatal consultation to review your birth preferences and prepare for labour and birth, including pain management options, labour and birth positions, comfort measures, and other practical tips - 24/7 on-call support beginning at 38 weeks - Continuous support throughout labour and birth During labour, my focus Is on: - Protecting your privacy and creating a sense of safety - Helping create a quiet, comfortable environment for labour - Supporting communication with your care providers - Helping you stay connected to your birth preferences - Suggesting positions, comfort measures, and tools to help reduce discomfort - Providing reassurance, encouragement, and emotional support - Supporting your partner's involvement, if desired During the immediate postpartum period (first 2 hours), I offer: - A quiet and peaceful environment - Postpartum tea - Comfort and support as you transition into the postpartum period - Breastfeeding support - A soothing peri-bottle mixture with witch hazel, aloe vera, and Epsom salts Birth Support Available In: Fredericton • Waterville • Saint John • Moncton • Miramichi • Bathurst
