Payment & Conditions
Booking Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required at the time of booking to secure your birth support.
Payment Options
Flexible payment options are available, including multiple instalments or bi-weekly e-transfers. Payments may begin at the time of booking and must be completed no later than 36 weeks of pregnancy. Each prenatal session is payable in advance and must be paid prior to the appointment date.
On-Call Service Activation
On-call birth support begins at 38 weeks, provided the birth support fee has been paid in full.
Travel Fee
Birth support is available in Fredericton, Saint John, Moncton, Miramichi and Bathurst. A travel fee of $0.65 per kilometre applies for clients residing outside of the Fredericton area.
Insurance Coverage
Services are covered by most insurance plans under NATUROPATHY. Direct billing is available with Blue Cross and eClaims with Telus Health.
Emergency Cesarean Births
In the event of an emergency cesarean birth without labour, applicable on-call service ($300 per week or $42 per day) and travel fees may still be charged.
YOUR DOULA
Originally from France, I’ve called Canada home for over 20 years and have been raising my family of four in New Brunswick since 2008.
My passion for birth and motherhood led me into perinatal work through the VON Healthy Baby and Me program. From there, I completed my certification in perinatal naturopathy at the Mère & Monde Maternity Center in Montreal. These days, I get to come full circle by training new doulas there as an instructor!
I’m also the Founder and President of Doulas of New Brunswick (DNB), a nonprofit professional association dedicated to raising the bar for perinatal support across the province. This role keeps me well-connected with an amazing community of doulas throughout New Brunswick—and yes, we really do love talking about birth that much!
Blending professional training with lived experience, I believe pregnancy and childbirth are normal life events (not medical emergencies by default) and are best approached with confidence, good information, and a healthy dose of trust in the body.
I serve New-Brunswick families in person and online. My role is to offer informational, emotional, and physical support grounded in evidence-based care and respectful collaboration with healthcare providers. My goal? To help families feel informed and supported, while encouraging autonomy and self-determination.
